Cookie Policy
Most cookie policies are longer than this one because most websites set more cookies than this one. This site has no advertising tags, no social media pixels and no cookies of its own. The only cookies that can be set here belong to Google, and only if you agree to them.
What can be stored
Three things, and two of them are optional.
Your cookie choice
When you make a choice below, we save that answer in your own browser's local storage. It records nothing except what you agreed to, it is never sent to us, and it stays until you change it or clear your browsing data. We do not ask permission for this one, because the alternative is asking you the same question on every page you open.
The booking calendar, if you allow it
Our appointment diary runs on Google Calendar, embedded on the booking page. When it loads, Google sets its own cookies, typically for signing you in, remembering preferences, keeping the service secure and preventing abuse. Those cookies are Google's rather than ours, and they are covered by Google's own cookie policy.
Until you allow it, the calendar is not loaded at all. Not hidden, not loaded quietly in the background: the page simply does not request it, so nothing is set. If you would rather not, you can still book a call by phone, WhatsApp or email, none of which involve cookies.
Visitor statistics, if you allow it
We use Google Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages get read, so we know which articles are worth writing. It sets Google's own cookies to tell one visit from another. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, we do not sell anything to anybody, and no advertising profile is built from it.
As with the calendar, it is not loaded until you agree. Refuse, and the script is never requested — you simply are not counted.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw or give permission at any time, and it takes the same single click either way.
Withdrawing permission stops the calendar loading from then on. It does not delete cookies Google has already set, which you can clear yourself from your browser's settings, usually under privacy or site data. Every browser also lets you block cookies entirely, and this site works perfectly well with them blocked.
Anything else
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. That is ordinary infrastructure logging rather than tracking, and it does not involve cookies. There is more detail in our privacy policy, and if anything here is unclear you can email office@flavinpropertypartners.co.uk.
